Essen is over, time for a big thank YOU!
From the whole CGE team, who has arrived safely back home from Essen (the greatest boardgaming fair in the Europe) we want to thank you very much for being there with us!
Regardless if you just took some time to talk about the Adrenaline: Team Play DLC expansion, or found time to get a proper demo of Trapwords, the revised edition of Pictomania and XXL edition of Codenames and Codenames: Pictures, we hope you enjoyed it, at least as much as we did.
You were able to look at a demo of age A and I of the planned Through the Ages digital expansion. Maybe you were able to meet and ask for a photo or a signature from Vlaada, Filip Neduk (author of Adrenaline), Martin Hrabálek & Jan Březina (authors of Trapwords).
It was you, who made Trapwords rank 25th on the Board Game Geek buzz ladder – and actually it was 1st place for "small" party games! It's not bad at all, if you realize that it's one of the more than 800 new titles and it brought a huge amount of joy to the authors and the whole CGE team.
It was also 140 of you, who took part in a Europe Masters tournament playing last year’s release Pulsar 2849. The official pressmap says "The round was won by Brettspielteam Hamburg with 18 points, and made a leap in the ranking by claiming position 2. Das Team mit dem Paukenschlag scored 17 points and became 2nd. And thereby secured its no 1 position and became EC champions 2018." Congratulations! To us, however, you all are winners!

Will be Trapwords available in German (and other languages)?
Trapwords was ready for demo at Spiel with already confirmed German words, the final German edition will be ready during Q1 of 2019 by Asmodee DE. Folks speaking Polish, Czech, Italian, Spanish and Romanian will be able to play it as well. The other languages will be discussed in November and we will gladly provide you the list afterwards.
Will the Through the Ages expansion with Leaders and Wonders also be available as a physical board game?
Yes, and we plan to release both during 2019. Meanwhile feel free to check the discussion about the Essen demo leak.
What if I was not able to attend the Essen Spiel, where else I could meet you?
You can look forward to demos and purchasing the newest titles at BGG Con on 14.–18. November at booth 503, The Hyatt Regency DFW Airport, Texas, USA.
