Lost Ruins of Arnak – announcement of a new game for 2020
We are happy to officially announce that Lost Ruins of Arnak will be our new big box title of 2020. A couple of enthusiastic designers, Mín and Elwen, are behind this project for 1 to 4 brave explorers.
Do you dare to step into the jungles of a long lost island in uncharted seas, where traces of a once great civilization have been found?
Players lead rival expeditions to a newly discovered island. Through a unique combination of worker placement and deckbuilding, each expedition attempts to uncover the lost island’s secrets.
In addition to traditional deckbuilder effects, cards can also be used to place workers. Decks are small, and randomness is heavily mitigated by the wealth of tactical decisions offered on the game board. Building a solid resource base will be essential.
A game of Lost Ruins of Arnak takes about 90-120 minutes to play. The release is planned for Fall 2020. The recommended price will be $ 59.95 / 59.95 €.
