Dear friends and fans of Lost Ruins of Arnak,

We have some updates about the availability of the game’s expansion, Expedition Leaders.

You might have seen that the expansion was first available at SPIEL’21 in both English and German languages. Expedition Leaders quickly became a bestseller of the show, alongside the new edition of Galaxy Trucker—for which we are grateful. It was incredible to be able to showcase both the expansion and the base game after almost two years of no conventions. If you weren’t at the show, you can check out our video report.

After SPIEL, the remaining English copies of Expedition Leaders have been sent to our partners in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania, the Scandinavia region, and the UK. Gamers in these countries should start seeing boxes of the expansion popping up in stores soon.

In the USA, you can expect to see the first copies of the game this December at PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia. We are air shipping a limited number of copies just for this show and will be selling it there in the CGE room no. 202. A shipment of additional copies have left our printer last week and is headed across the Atlantic—games from this container are expected to arrive in the US stores in the first weeks of 2022.

We have an update for non-English speakers as well! Expedition Leaders is currently in the process of being translated into most of the languages that the base game was produced in. According to the current production schedule, we estimate those translated language editions of the expansion will arrive in stores around the world at the end of Q1 2022 at the earliest. Unfortunately, production, HR, and shipping conditions caused by COVID are not improving, making it harder to predict exact timelines and they are likely to shift.
