Czech Games Edition

We are proud to announce the official Galaxy Trucker expansion is being prepared right now, scheduled to launch toward you at Essen 2008 show.

It will be consisted of several parts that add more fun and destruction, but also more control and player to player interaction. As a bonus, you will find the upgraded version of Rough Road Ahead free expansion included, as well as two bonus cards from the first Essen release. Stay tuned for more details.

Meanwhile, you can take part in our Rough Road Ahead questionnaire and contest. What’s at stake? The expansion itself, of course.

In order to satisfy our players worldwide, CGE started long-term cooperation with publishers in different regions. Our partners are Heidelberger Spielverlag for Germany, QWG Games for France and Benelux and Albi for Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.

The first result of our cooperation will be the second edition of League of Six in June. It will be published in Czech (Albi), German (Heidelberger), French (QWG), Dutch (QWG) and also English (JKLM Games) versions.

And of course, the second edition of Galaxy Trucker will follow!

Last night the jury of Spiel des Jahres uncovered this year’s nominations and recommended games for the most prestige board game price. We are proud to present one of our games – Galaxy Trucker – alongside such great games like In the Year of Dragon and others in the list of recommended games for this year. This honor doesn’t belongs to CGE only but to whole Czech and Slovak board game community. Many friends from both countries are helping us to make our games what they are. Thank you.

The Obsessed with Gaming web site published a nice video review of Galaxy Trucker.

There is also well done “How to play” section in the video that can help you to imagine what the game is about and how it is played.

Readers of German internet magazine H@LL 9000 voted for Galaxy Trucker as for the “Most innovative” game of 2007. It seems the game did well also in the main category. Das ist ja super! )
