International Gamers Awards committe announced this year’s finalists for prestige award. We are proud to say that after 2 years theres’s another Czech game among 10 nominated games in category “General Stragety Multi-Player”. Another great achievement for Vlaada Chvátil, Czech Games Edition and Space Alert.

We are proud to announce that after Galaxy Trucker another Vlaada Chvátil’s game is receiving awards for it’s originality. Vlaada’s team survival game Space Alert won Dice Tower Gaming Awards 2008 in category “Most Progressive game of 2008″ which is given to a game with most innovative game mechanics.

Unfortunately, some copies of the English language Space Alert contain a uncomfortable error – the labels on Tutorial CD and Mission CD are switched, so the Tutorial CD is labeled Mission CD and vice versa. To learn whether your copy is okay, please check the length of the CDs (Tutorial CD has to be 74 minutes long, Mission CD is 80 minutes long) or the length of the first tracks (on Tutorial CD, it has to be 7 minutes long, on Mission CD it is 10 minutes long). Jury of the prestigious Spiel des Jahres award announced this year’s nominations. This time, it is even bigger success for Czech Games Edition than last year: special award “Neue Spielwelten” (New gaming worlds) goes to Vlaada Chvátil’s game Space Alert.
